Job summary

Saab is seeking a Warehouse Leader to supervise warehouse operators, ensure safe and efficient material handling, and maintain strict inventory accuracy. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, kitting, and dispatch while enforcing FIFO/FEFO and batch traceability.

You will collaborate with Production, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, and Planning to ensure material availability, optimize space, and drive continuous improvements in productivity and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in warehouse operations and material handling within a precision engineering manufacturing environment.
• Experience in international or European manufacturing is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and material flow processes.
• Familiarity with 5S, continuous improvement, and warehouse safety regulations.
• Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, and batch/lot traceability requirements.
• Proven leadership to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operators, forklift operators, and material-handling personnel.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate warehouse operations with inventory accuracy.
• Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, picking, kitting, and dispatch activities.
• Monitor capacity, space utilization, and storage locations; ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Maintain inventory integrity via cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate discrepancies.
• Handle hazardous or regulated materials per procedures and regulations.
• Build and maintain warehouse performance reports and KPIs; drive continuous improvements.
• Provide training, coaching, and development for warehouse staff; support external audits.
