Job summary

Saab is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to support safe warehouse and production flows. You will operate electric forklifts to move pallets, load and unload materials, and ensure proper stacking.

You will perform daily inspections, follow battery charging procedures, maintain records, and report defects. You will collaborate with warehouse, production, quality, and logistics teams to keep materials moving efficiently while upholding safety and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• Completed 12th Standard (Higher Secondary Education).
• Minimum age of 25 years.
• Valid LMV Driving Licence (India).
• At least 5 years' experience operating forklifts in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of safe material handling and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Operate electric forklifts to move materials between storage, production and dispatch areas.
• Load, unload, stack, and transport pallets and materials.
• Perform daily pre-use inspections of equipment and follow charging procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of forklift inspections and material movements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure material flow.
• Contribute to housekeeping and safety standards.
