Juan Carlo-The Caterer, Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate inventory records, receive and release stocks, and support smooth warehouse and restaurant operations.
The role requires attention to detail, basic Excel skills, and the ability to lift stock. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Kitchen, and Operations, conduct regular counts, and ensure proper storage and safety.
The Warehouse Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving and releasing stocks, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting in the proper organization and storage of materials. The position ensures that inventory records are updated and that stocks are properly accounted for to support smooth warehouse and restaurant operations.
At least Senior High School graduate, vocational graduate, or college level; bachelor's degree is an advantage.
Previous experience in warehouse, inventory, stockroom, receiving, or logistics is preferred.
Experience in a restaurant, catering, commissary, hotel, or food-service environment is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management.
Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other inventory-related systems.
Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physically capable of lifting and moving stocks when required.
Honest, dependable, organized, and hardworking.
Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.
Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming stocks, supplies, ingredients, equipment, and other materials.
Check delivered items against purchase orders, delivery receipts, and approved requisitions.
Record all incoming and outgoing inventory accurately and promptly.
Prepare and process stock issuance and release documents.
Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock, excess, damaged, or expired items.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stocks with inventory records.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.
Properly label, organize, and store items according to their category and storage requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the warehouse.
Assist in loading and unloading deliveries when necessary.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Receiving, Kitchen, F&B, Operations, and other departments regarding stock requirements.
Update inventory records using spreadsheets, inventory systems, or other company‑approved tools.
Maintain proper filing of delivery receipts, stock transfer forms, issuance slips, and other inventory documents.
Assist in preparing inventory reports and summaries.
Ensure that warehouse equipment, tools, and supplies are properly handled and stored.
Report damaged, missing, or unauthorized stock movements immediately.
Follow company policies on inventory control, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
