Job summary

Mary Grace Cafe is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise the dispatch team, ensure orders are prepared accurately, and coordinate with logistics partners to meet delivery deadlines.

You will monitor loading, maintain inventory records, verify shipment details, and ensure safety and quality standards are followed, while coaching staff to improve performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in warehouse or dispatch operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of dispatch, logistics, inventory control, and transportation processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with WMS is a plus.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily dispatch activities and ensure timely release of deliveries.
• Lead and monitor dispatch personnel, drivers, and helpers to achieve operational targets.
• Verify the accuracy of orders, delivery documents, and shipment details before dispatch.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Sales teams regarding delivery schedules and requirements.
• Monitor vehicle loading to ensure proper handling and secure transport of products.
• Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures and accurate documentation of dispatched items.
• Investigate and resolve dispatch-related concerns, delays, and discrepancies.
• Maintain records of deliveries, returns, and proof of delivery documents.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and guidance as needed.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and company policies within the dispatch area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispatch warehouse.
