Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Warehouse Operations Manager to lead and optimize warehouse and fulfillment operations for our growing e-commerce business. The successful candidate will oversee inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics coordination, warehouse staff supervision, and operational process improvements to ensure accurate, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and experience in warehouse management within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations Management

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing.
• Ensure smooth execution of order fulfillment activities while maintaining high accuracy and productivity levels.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, space utilization, and workflow efficiency.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operational policies.

Inventory Management

• Oversee inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities.
• Monitor stock movements and coordinate with Procurement and Merchandising teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure proper product handling and storage practices.
• Lead, train, coach, and evaluate warehouse supervisors and staff.
• Develop workforce schedules and manpower plans based on business volume and operational requirements.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement development plans.
• Coordinate with third-party logistics providers, couriers, and transportation partners.
• Monitor fulfillment performance, shipping timelines, and delivery service levels.
• Ensure customer orders are processed, packed, and dispatched on time.
• Manage reverse logistics and product return processes.

Process Improvement

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement improvement initiatives.
• Analyze warehouse KPIs and prepare performance reports.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to improve efficiency.
• Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and industry standards.
• Maintain warehouse safety programs and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular warehouse inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure security measures are in place to prevent loss, damage, and theft.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Experience in e-commerce, retail, distribution, or fulfillment operations is highly preferred.
• Proven experience managing large warehouse teams and high-volume order fulfillment operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
