Job summary

Puyat Steel Corp in Metro Manila is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate and oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing and shipping materials.

You will maintain accurate inventory, supervise staff, ensure safety and security, and collaborate with other departments to fulfil orders while implementing SOPs to optimize efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all activities in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock checks, reconciling discrepancies, and updating the inventory management system.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized and clean, following proper safety and security measures.
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage or loss.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfil orders and meet customer requirements in a timely manner.
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and machinery in the warehouse, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed.
• Prepare and generate regular reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and performance metrics.
