Job summary

Marsh in Manila is seeking a Vice President, Reinsurance Actuary to lead analytical work for the Global Analytics and Advisory team. You will build pricing and risk models, evaluate structures, and advise brokers and clients on optimized reinsurance solutions in a fast-paced market.

The role combines technical actuarial expertise with client-facing problem solving, leveraging AI and modern analytics platforms to speed insights while maintaining actuarial rigor.

Qualifications

• Experience in property (re)insurance pricing, capital modeling, and/or catastrophe modeling.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in non-life (re)insurance.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills.
• Strong ability to manage significant workflow and competing priorities through efficient time management.
• Coding experience in Python, Alteryx, R, VBA, SQL; comfort with Databricks.
• Qualified or near-qualified actuary (FCAS, FIA or FIAA).
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate strategically with brokers, reinsurers, and clients.
• Build and apply complex models and analysis to pricing and strategy.
• Evaluate and design optimized reinsurance structures.
• Apply AI-enabled approaches to streamline repeatable work.
• Support broking-led revenue by analytics-driven solutions.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues.
