Job summary

Par Excellence Search Consulting Inc. seeks an Actuarial Manager/Senior Manager for a leading global financial services client in the Philippines.

The role focuses on pricing, modeling, valuation, risk assessment, and strategic planning, guiding a talented actuarial team in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH) based in Quezon City. Lead and mentor actuaries, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver robust financial projections while staying current with industry trends and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of actuarial experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Associate designation from a recognized actuarial organization (e.g., SOA, ASP) with meaningful progress toward Fellowship.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, VBA, and Access.
• Experience with GGY AXIS, SQL, QlikView, Python, or similar actuarial and analytical tools.
• Proven experience applying actuarial concepts to independently model and analyze actuarial financial metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team of actuaries supporting strategic analysis, risk assessment, and business planning.
• Provide actuarial expertise across key areas, including Asset Modeling and Valuation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate financial projections, pricing strategies, and robust risk management solutions.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering continuous learning, professional development, and high performance.
• Drive innovation by keeping current with actuarial industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies.
• Review and analyze actuarial financial metrics, models, and business insights to support informed decision-making.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
