Job summary

Marsh Re (formerly Guy Carpenter) is seeking a Vice President, Reinsurance Actuary based in Manila to join our Global Analytics and Advisory team. The role blends actuarial expertise with reinsurance strategy and client-facing problem solving, with a hybrid schedule requiring at least three days in the office.

You will develop analytics-led reinsurance solutions, translate complex analyses into actionable insights for brokers and clients, and mentor junior colleagues while leveraging Databricks

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in non-life (re)insurance.
• Excellent communication, presentation and project management skills.
• Strong ability to manage significant workflow and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with brokers and clients to deliver high-value reinsurance actuarial support in a fast-paced environment.
• Build and apply complex models and analysis to assess risk and pricing strategies across exposures.
• Evaluate and design optimized reinsurance structures considering earnings volatility and capital impact.
• Apply AI-enabled approaches to streamline analysis setup, testing, QA, and executive summaries.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues.
