Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Manila seeks a VP to lead the Reconciliations Utility, guiding daily reconciliations and accounting support while strengthening governance, controls, and issue resolution.

You will ensure accurate statements, timely delivery, and robust evidencing for audit readiness, partnering across Risk, Compliance, and Operations. You will also develop people and drive process improvements to reduce operational risk and elevate outcomes, with accountability for end-to-end

Qualifications

• 10 years of reconciliations experience or equivalent operations background.
• Experience leading reconciliations delivery, break management and investigations.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to reconciliations governance (CASS).
• Strong accounting principles applied to operational processes.
• Proven ability to manage risk, controls, audit readiness and incident handling.
• People management including coaching, performance reviews, and development.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily reconciliations and accounting support activities to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee reconciliations governance, ownership, escalation, and evidence standards.
• Drive identification, investigation, escalation, and remediation of breaks and breaches.
• Produce and review performance metrics and control indicators with clear commentary.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Operations to implement policy changes and doc updates.
• Maintain strong control ownership and ensure key controls are designed and in operation.
• Lead issues management with remediation plans and closure evidence.
• Coordinate responses to internal and external reviews with evidence gathering.
• Lead disruption triage and incident response for reconciliations impacts.
• Maintain process documentation and continuity materials for resilience.
• Coach and develop team members through hiring, onboarding, and performance management.
