Job summary

JPMorganChase in a global capacity seeks a Vice President to lead reconciliations and accounting support, strengthening governance and control frameworks to deliver accurate records on time. You will partner with Risk, Compliance, and Operations to implement policy changes, manage incidents, and drive process improvement across stakeholders.

You will coach a team, oversee issue remediation, and ensure evidence standards are maintained for regulatory readiness, while maintaining a strong control

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in reconciliations delivery and break management.
• Ability to lead end-to-end governance for reconciliation processes.
• Proven track record of maintaining audit readiness and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily reconciliations and accounting support activities to ensure accurate, timely completion and reporting.
• Oversee reconciliations governance for activities subject to CASS expectations, including ownership, escalation, and evidence standards.
• Drive identification, investigation, escalation, and remediation of breaks and breaches with root cause analysis.
• Produce and review reconciliation KPIs and control indicators, with commentary on trends.
• Partner with Risk, Compliance, Operations to implement policy changes and update procedures.
• Maintain strong control ownership; ensure controls are designed and operating effectively.
• Lead issues management, track remediation plans, and provide closure evidence for control gaps.
• Coordinate responses to reviews by organizing requests and evidence; drive remediation outcomes.
• Lead disruption triage and incident response for reconciliation impacts; monitor progress to closure.
• Maintain process documentation and continuity materials to support resilience.
• Coach and develop team members through hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and feedback.
