Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a VoIP Engineer in the Philippines. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining VoIP and unified communications systems, ensuring reliable voice services and smooth integration with CRM and helpdesk tools.

You will configure SIP and PBX systems, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues like latency and jitter, while collaborating with network and infrastructure teams to deliver seamless communications across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in VoIP, telecommunications, or network engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323) and PBX systems (Asterisk, Cisco, Avaya).
• Experience troubleshooting VoIP and network-related issues.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, QoS, VLANs, routing, and switching).

Your Role:

As a VoIP Engineer, you will:

• Familiarity with network monitoring and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark)
• Knowledge of security practices for VoIP environments
• Experience working in enterprise or service provider environments
