Syngenta Group is seeking a Regional Rice Lead for VisMin in the Philippines. The role focuses on expanding the hybrid rice market, driving sales growth in general trade and government tender channels, and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You will lead field promoters, monitor market dynamics, and report on performance to guide regional strategies and product adoption across farmer networks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural sales or marketing, preferably in the rice sector.
Good understanding of the Philippine rice market.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and market share growth.
Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiation skills.
Fluency in English and relevant local languages.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional sales strategies for hybrid rice.
Set and achieve sales targets in general trade and government tender markets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and government agencies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Identify and pursue government tender opportunities for hybrid rice.
Lead and coach 3rd party Field Promoters to achieve objectives.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
