Job summary

JPMorganChase’s Learning experience design team seeks a designer to turn real business needs into modern, practical, video-first learning experiences that engage and support on-the-job performance.

You will partner with SMEs, design multimedia assets, and own end-to-end production from discovery to launch, using AI-enabled prototyping and ensuring accessibility. The role emphasizes storytelling, visuals, and learning science to deliver scalable training solutions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated portfolio of multimedia learning assets with emphasis on video and interactive or simulation-style experiences.
• Ability to create modern digital learning deliverables including video-based learning and scenario-based practice.
• Understanding of adult learning principles and their application to multimedia design.
• Strong stakeholder management and feedback integration.
• Storytelling ability to translate complex information into engaging learning narratives.
• Proficiency with multimedia production tools (video editing, audio cleanup, visual design).
• Basic HTML literacy for reading/editing simple HTML and troubleshooting interactive assets.
• Comfort using AI-assisted workflows to prototype and refine learning experiences.
• Strong visual design skills in layout, typography, and pacing.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce video-first learning, motion graphics, interactive modules, and simulation-style practice experiences.
• Lead end-to-end development from discovery through launch readiness, including scripting, storyboarding, prototyping, production, quality checks, and accessibility validation.
• Prototype interactive learning assets rapidly using AI-assisted workflows and lightweight coding practices.
• Build interactive practice activities with clear guidance, feedback loops, and realistic decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to clarify performance outcomes, audience needs, constraints, and success measures.
• Translate complex information into engaging narratives, visuals, and practice opportunities.
• Apply learning science pragmatically, managing cognitive load and designing effective practice and feedback.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel, driving timelines, prioritization, and stakeholder communications.
• Iterate based on feedback and light testing to improve clarity, usability, and learner engagement.
• Ensure learning outputs meet accessibility and inclusive design, including captions, transcripts, keyboard navigation, and color contrast.
