Mangoes and Bananas Studio seeks a Video Editor & Content Producer to lead video work from concept to final cut. You will write briefs, direct shoots, and then edit and animate into compelling footage for brands, reels, and campaigns.

Strength in storytelling, timing, and current trends is essential, as you’ll manage on-set and post-production to deliver finished videos that hook viewers across platforms.

Formación

• At least 1–2 years experience in video editing and production.
• A portfolio or reel that shows short-form videos and commercials or ads.
• Proficient in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Skilled in animation and motion graphics using After Effects or a similar tool.
• Able to write video briefs, scripts, and storyboards.
• Experience attending and directing shoots.
• A strong sense of pacing, story, and sound, and an eye on current short-form video trends.

Responsabilidades

• Edit videos for client brands, from short-form content for Reels and TikTok to longer commercials.
• Create animations and motion graphics, such as animated text, logos, and transitions.
• Produce commercials and short-form video campaigns from concept to final export.
• Create video briefs that set out the concept, the script or storyboard, the shot list, and references.
• Attend and direct shoots so the footage matches the brief and the edit you have in mind.
• Work with the Social Media Manager, the Production Associate, and the design team on concepts, schedules, and revisions.
• Finish each video with sound, captions, and color, and export it in the right format for each platform.

As a Video Editor & Content Producer at Mangoes and Bananas Studio, you make the videos that put a brand in the spotlight. You write the brief, direct the shoot, and then cut, animate, and finish the piece, whether it is a commercial or a short-form video campaign.

About the role

The Video Editor & Content Producer leads our video work from concept to final cut. You are part producer and part editor: you create the brief that defines the video, attend and direct the shoot so you get the footage you need, and then edit and animate it into something people watch to the end.

We expect strong editing skills and a sense of story. You should know how to hook a viewer in the first few seconds, how to pace a 15-second reel differently from a commercial, and how to use animation to make a message clearer. Because you are both on set and in the edit, you are responsible for how the finished video turns out.
