Leslie Corporation in Laguna, Calamba, Philippines, seeks a Vice President for Manufacturing to head the Snack Food Division across several plants. ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a senior manufacturing leader to head our entire snack food manufacturing division across multiple plants. As Vice President for Manufacturing, you will be the senior leader accountable for production operations, quality, maintenance, engineering, warehouse, and logistics across the Snack Food Division group, coordinating the end-to-end supply chain from procurement through to final customer delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set and cascade production, efficiency, capacity, cost, quality, and delivery targets across all Snack Food plants, leading and controlling end-to-end manufacturing operations.
Oversee Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Warehouse, and Logistics functions, ensuring alignment with SOPs and food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, SQF) across every business unit.
Coordinate the full supply chain - procurement, production, warehouse, logistics, and customer delivery -ensuring supplier performance, material availability, cost discipline, and on-time fulfillment.
Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programs, equipment reliability initiatives, and engineering projects that meet timelines, quality, and budget.
Champion continuous improvement and the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies to maximize productivity, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and manage division-level budgets, operating margins, capital expenditures, and cost‑control measures.
Review and approve plant manning, organizational design, career development, and succession planning in coordination with HR.
Establish and monitor group‑wide KPIs across production output, quality, waste, inventory accuracy, logistics, and customer service.
Partner with other department heads, support groups, and plant managers to align manufacturing priorities; review and approve supplier proposals and contracts.
Prepare and present timely reports, updates, and strategic recommendations to the General Manager / Division President.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Licensed), Food Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field.
A master’s degree is a strong advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experiencein food manufacturing.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership rolemanaging multiple plants or business units.
Proven, integrated experience managing production, quality, maintenance, engineering, warehouse, and logistics in a multi‑plant environment.
Strong knowledge of snack food manufacturing processes (mixing, extrusion, frying, seasoning, packaging) and food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, SQF).
Demonstrated success managing end-to-end supply chain, including supplier management and logistics optimization.
Strong understanding of maintenance management systems, predictive/preventive maintenance strategies, and engineering project management.
Leadership & Business Acumen
Excellent strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to develop long‑range operating objectives, organizational structures, and procedures.
Strong financial management skills — budgeting, cost control, capital project approval, and achieving target operating margins and efficiencies.
Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and develop senior managers and high‑performing teams across multiple sites.
