Job summary

Manulife is seeking a Vendor Management Manager to lead governance, maintenance, and optimization of vendor master data across procurement, finance, risk, and compliance. You will own vendor master data management, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and adherence to controls throughout the lifecycle.

The role supports procurement transformation, process standardization, and data quality across Asia and North America, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and a track record of continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, supply chain, information systems or related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, vendor management or related fields.
• 3-5 years of experience managing vendor master data, onboarding, or procurement operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance, maintenance, and optimization of vendor master data across procurement and finance.
• Oversee creation, modification, and deactivation of vendor records in systems.
• Ensure vendor setup requests meet SLAs and data integrity standards.
• Develop vendor data quality programs, including deduplication and cleansing.
• Support end-to-end vendor onboarding and lifecycle management with stakeholders.
• Design and drive process improvements, SOPs, and governance frameworks.
• Partner with Audit, Risk, Operations, and Finance to support audits and controls.
• Generate vendor-related reports and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
