Ford Motor Company in the Philippines is seeking a Vehicle Logistics Supervisor to setup and sustain vehicle transportation, yard management, and quality processes for wholesale and retail requirements.
The role interfaces with logistics suppliers to ensure on-time delivery to dealerships and customers, while leading PDI and distribution operations and coordinating new-model launches. A minimum of 5 years in yard/logistics is required.
The Vehicle Logistics Supervisor is responsible for the setup and sustainment of company Vehicle Transportation/logistics and Yard Management processes to support wholesale requirements. Interfaces between the company and logistics suppliers to ensure on – time availability and delivery of our vehicles to the dealerships and to their customers. This is also responsible for the setup and sustainment of company’s vehicle Quality process to support wholesale and retail requirements.
Supervise the Logistics Provider (LLP) managing finished goods inventory, yard operations, and compliance with Ford Global Standards (VOPQUG-225, VOPQUG-277)
Monitor incoming shipments, GVDS updates, and daily/weekly inventory reports; conduct quarterly and year-end inventory counts and monthly safety audits
Verify LLP repair and gasoline consumption to determine defect chargebacks, and validate/process billing invoices
Drive productivity and cost-saving initiatives (TVM projects), coordinate new model launch training, and support FSE technical concerns
Conduct regular port and dealer visits, and support ITSS/FSA activities to ensure quality standards Vehicle Distribution Operation
Lead vehicle logistics operations with the Logistics Provider, ensuring sufficient car carrier resources for daily vehicle movement (Port to Compound, Compound to Dealer)
Conduct quarterly transportation safety audits and facilitate safety stand-downs, reviewing incident/accident reports (Global 8Ds)
Evaluate and facilitate chargeback processes for transportation damage
Evaluate daily trip plans, load density, and support launch load testing
Ensure freight verification system updates and submit damage-free and CO2 reports to the regional team Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)
Supervise PDI and delivery operation quality/performance by the Logistics Provider, ensuring compliance with PDI and preservation procedures
Review daily operation reports, submit technical reports to Global Concern Reporting, and monitor down-unit status
Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts, facilitate chargebacks/claims, and support PDI claims adjudication
Monitor PDI parts stock levels, facilitate parts disposal, and validate/process billing invoices
Coordinate new model launch training, FSE technical support, and conduct regular dealer/port visits
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
