Job summary

Cloud Accountant Staffing - Careers is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant/Tax Manager in the Philippines to own multi-entity return preparation and review, provide plain-English explanations of complex rules, and enable proactive, compliant client handling during peak seasons.

You will mentor junior staff, help modernize compliance and advisory playbooks, and ensure calendars, checklists, and SOPs drive efficiency and quality across the engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-entity tax return preparation and review.
• Ability to explain complex tax concepts in plain English.
• Strong SOPs, checklists, and calendars for busy seasons.
• Experience coaching junior staff and raising quality.
• Interest in automation and small process wins.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax intake end-to-end and map client year-basis returns to work plans.
• Prepare and review multi-entity returns (1065/1120/1120-S) and K-1s; assess §199A eligibility.
• Prepare individual returns (1040) with Schedules A/B/C/D/E and related forms.
• Manage state/nexus updates, SALT, credits/elections where applicable.
• Draft responses to IRS/state notices with clear options and timelines.
• Join standing calls and deliver concise takeaways for leadership.
