The role focuses on preparing accounts to review, applying accounting standards, and taxation knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance. You will work across planning, preparation, and completion procedures, keep clients informed, manage time, and liaise professionally to add value and improve processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of Australian reporting requirements, taxation law and financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidation of financial reports is a plus.
• Strong communication and client liaison abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts to review stage with supervision.
• Keep up to date with changes to accounting and tax law.
• Plan assignments with clients and management to meet deadlines.
• Finalize files after manager/partner review and assist with billing.
• Liaise with clients professionally to understand their business and add value.
