Job summary

Scrubbed is seeking a US Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and financial statement preparation for US-based clients. The role will involve AP/AR processing, payroll runs, month-end close, and preparing management reports with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with BPO exposure, and hands-on use of QuickBooks, Bill.com, Sage, or NetSuite.

Job description

We are looking for a US Senior Accountant to handle accounting tasks from day-to-day transactions through financial statement preparation, using various accounting software and cloud-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable processing
• Accounts Receivable processing
• Inventory analysis
• Monthly Payroll run and accounting
• Completion of month-end journals and closing adjustments
• Preparation and completion of monthly financial reports and management reports
• Bank and GL Reconciliations
• Actively participates during client calls
• Identifies significant risks and is able to analyze and document in a technical memo
• Able to guide and review entry-level staff work
• Drafts process documentation
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• With at least 3 years of experience in the same field, preferably with BPO companies
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent
• Experience working directly with US clients is required
• Hands-on experience with various accounting software such as QuickBooks, Bill.com, Sage, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Able to manage multiple client accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and leadership skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to urgent priorities.
• Familiarity with other US reporting requirements, such as Form 1099 preparation and filing, is a plus.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
