Job summary

TOA Global is hiring a US Intermediate Accountant in the Philippines, working US night shifts from Clark or Cebu onsite. You will prepare working papers, assist with tax and accounting deliverables, monitor budgets, and mentor junior staff while engaging with onshore accountants and partners.

We seek candidates with public accounting or outsourced accounting experience, a degree in accounting/finance, and progress toward CPA designation.

Qualifications

• Experience in public accounting, bookkeeping, US tax, assurance, business services, or outsourced accounting solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; CPA in progress preferred.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and Excel; familiarity with US accounting, tax, and workflow platforms is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare working papers, tax files, and financial statements aligned with firm standards and US engagement requirements.
• Track billable hours against budgets and manage multiple client tasks; escalate delays or overruns.
• Conduct technical research on US accounting and tax standards; apply findings to client files.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff; support a collaborative team culture.
