Job summary

TOA Global is seeking a US Junior Accountant to support compiled financial statements, working papers, corporate and personal tax returns for a diverse client base. You'll work during US night hours from Clark or Cebu, Philippines, in a full-time onsite role with a strong team in a global accounting practice.

Ideal candidates have a accounting degree, CPA progression preferred, and a solid understanding of tax concepts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, financial statements, and tax concepts.
• Clear written and verbal English communication with attention to detail.
• Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare compiled financial statements and supporting schedules per firm procedures.
• Compile working papers for corporate, partnership, and personal tax returns.
• Perform routine general ledger analysis and trial balance reconciliations.
• Communicate progress with managers and maintain client relationships.
• Leverage accounting software to improve engagement efficiency and track time.
