Job summary

TOA Global in Cebu, Philippines, is seeking a US Intermediate Accountant to join our North American division. This onsite role focuses on managing US client portfolios, ensuring tax compliance, and mentoring junior staff while maintaining strict data security.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of US accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and proficiency in QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online) with solid US GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of US accounting experience in a US firm or SME environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting and tax compliance for US client portfolios.
• Lead preparation of US federal and state tax returns (1120/1120S, 1065, 1041).
• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and regulatory standards.
• Oversee General Ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Coordinate with the US accounting team to meet deadlines.
