Job summary

Children of Asia in Mabolo, Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking a Training and Development Officer to join our Training Center team. The role involves delivering group training and career guidance to students from Grade 7 to college, and coordinating program activities.

Qualifications

Children of Asia is currently looking for a Training and Development Officer to join our Training Center team.

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐒:

• Graduate of BS Psychology or any course related to Group Training and Guidance Counseling.
• Proficient in Canva for creating engaging training and instructional materials.
• Proficient in Google Applications (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and computer literate.
• Experienced in virtual instruction platforms including Zoom, MS Teams, and Google Meet.
• Passionate about teaching students from children to young adults, with a high degree of patience.
• Possesses excellent people and problem-solving skills, with a strong commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of balancing multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Proactive, with strong initiative and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bisaya.
• Willing to travel to project/program locations across Cebu (Alegria, Minglanilla, Medellin, Daanbantayan).

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐒:

• Provide group training and/or career guidance especially to Grade 7 to College 4 students/beneficiaries
• Responsible for the preparation, invitation, and implementation of the Training Center’s programs
• Assisting in the monitoring and evaluation of the training program’s impact
• Coordinate among the social workers or IT Team for the implementation of the training center activities
