Job summary

World Vision International is seeking a Project Officer in Mandaue, Cebu, to lead the Urban Development Project focused on education, health, nutrition and child protection. The role involves multi-sector collaboration with partners, government bodies, and community volunteers to deliver targeted results within a fixed-term contract through September 2027.

The incumbent will coordinate partners, develop annual plans, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to sponsorship and development

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Social Work or related Social Sciences.
At least 2 years of programme/project implementation experience, preferably with an NGO.
Trained in LEAP 3 and DPA, or foundational training in Community Organizing and Development.

Responsibilities

Identifies and coordinates primary implementing partners and signs partnership agreements.
Prepares and submits detailed implementation plans and tracks progress against targets.
Collaborates with government partners and local councils to address child wellbeing.
Prepares monthly, semi-annual, and annual reports for programs and activities.
Coordinates training of local agencies and partners in project models.
Supports capacity-building of local partners and community volunteers.
Leads community planning and advocacy for child wellbeing at the local level.
Manages sponsor engagement and ensures sponsorship processes align with development programs.
