Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in the Philippines seeks an Unix IT Specialist to design and automate IT infrastructure, covering 3‑tier VM and containerized microservices with emphasis on scripting and CI/CD.

You will work with Linux, cloud environments, networking basics and security standards, participate in Scrum, and contribute to end‑to‑end solutions across on‑prem and public clouds.

Qualifications

• Scripting in Ansible, Bash (and Python modules).
• CI/CD processes experience.
• Git/Gitflow or similar branching.
• Linux admin with RHEL or SLES.
• Container workloads: Docker Compose, Kubernetes.
• Cloud IaaS: Azure, GCP, OpenStack.
• TCP/IP fundamentals, load balancing, firewalling.
• PKI, SSL/TLS, LDAP, OIDC, SAML basics.
• SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Apache/Nginx/HAProxy is a plus.

• Designing and building end‑to‑end solutions in both traditional VM oriented 3‑tier infrastructure and container‑oriented microservice infrastructure.

Education and skills

• Good scripting skills in one or more of the following: Ansible, Ansible modules in Python, Ansible Tower, Bash.
• Some experience with CI/CD processes.
• Experience with Git, Gitflow Workflow or other branching models.
• Linux at IT specialist level with one or more of the following: RHEL, SLES.
• Experience with container‑based workloads: Docker Compose, Kubernetes.
• Experience with one or more cloud IaaS: Azure, GCP, OpenStack.
• Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP fundamentals, load balancing, firewalling.
• Basic knowledge of encryption and AuthN/AuthR standards and protocols: PKI, SSL/TLS, LDAP, OIDC, SAML.
• Basic database knowledge: SQL, document‑oriented, key‑value.
