Job summary

RCBC is seeking a hands-on IT infrastructure lead to plan, organize, and execute IT operations in line with bank standards. You will drive complex infrastructure projects, enforce standards, and oversee production tasks while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 3–5 years of Unix/Linux administration, strong scripting, and experience with ITIL processes, DR planning, and on-call support. You will contribute to uptime, performance, and security across critical systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in Unix/Linux administration (e.g., RHEL, AIX).
• Proven ability to manage core system facilities, including kernel parameter tuning.
• Strong scripting skills to automate repetitive tasks.
• Experience in deep-dive troubleshooting of performance bottlenecks and network issues.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes: Change, Incident, RCA.
• Experience in planning backup/recovery procedures and DR drills.
• Ability to draft and maintain SOPs and system documentation.
• Strong collaboration with Database, Storage, Network, and App Dev teams.
• willingness to participate in on-call for production support.

Job description

Responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of assignedIT infrastructure and systems in accordance with bank standards and MTPP compliance laws and regulations. This includes managing assigned IT operations and functions to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and development of new technical solutions.

How will you contribute:

• Acts as the lead for application system enhancements or mid to complex infrastructure projects and changes.
• Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
• Directs operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Assigns workload to identify and balance the duties and responsibilities performed by each project team member.
• Ensures that project adheres to quality assurance standards and guidelines.
• Reviews performance of existing application system in production and recommends enhancements/modifications for improved efficiency.
• Ensures adherence to the bank’s methodology and standards on systems development, information security and audit. Recommends solutions to address audit findings.

What will make you successful:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Unix/Linux administration (e.g., RHEL, AIX,)
• Proven ability to manage core system facilities, including kernel parameter tuning.
• Strong proficiency in scripting for automating repetitive administrative tasks is highly preferred.
• Experience in deep-dive troubleshooting of performance bottlenecks and network connectivity issues.
• Solid understanding of ITIL processes, specifically in managing Change Requests (CRs), Incident Management, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Experience in planning and executing backup/recovery procedures and participating in regular Disaster Recovery (DR) drills
• Ability to draft and maintain technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and system configuration records.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Database, Storage, Network, and App Dev)
• Must be willing to participate in an on-call to support production systems and handle critical after-hours maintenance windows.
