Job summary

RCBC Bankard Services Corporation in Metro Manila seeks an experienced IT Project Director to lead a portfolio of systems development and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and KPIs such as customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

You will manage project lifecycles from initiation to closure, oversee budgeting, and guide cross-functional teams including software developers, QA, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive IT project management experience, including leading complex projects.
• Leadership or directorial experience in project teams (3–5+ years preferred).
• Significant domain experience in financial services or payments, with familiarity in cards, payments, loans and related tech.
• Awareness of industry languages and technologies such as .NET, Java, Python, C++, and C#.
• Proficient with multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).

Job Purpose

• Responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of a portfolio of IT projects focused on developing, enhancing, and maintaining systems and applications.
• Ensures IT projects are aligned with overall business strategy and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer satisfaction, transaction volume, or revenue growth.
• Oversees the entire lifecycle of multiple IT projects.
• Ensures projects are initiated, planned, executed, monitored, controlled, and closed successfully according to established project management methodologies.
• Develops and manages budgets for the IT project portfolio.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive IT Project Management Experience: 8-10+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, including successfully leading complex projects.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading and managing project teams and potentially other project managers (3-5+ years in a leadership or directorial role preferred).
• Domain Expertise: Significant experience working within the financial services or payments industry, with a strong understanding of cards, payments, loans and associated technologies.
• Familiarity with Relevant Technologies and Languages: Awareness of the
• programming languages and technologies commonly used in the industry (such as .NET, Java, Python, C++, C#)
• Methodology Proficiency: Strong understanding and practical application of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
