Job summary

Viventis Search Asia is seeking an IT Project Manager to serve as the primary liaison between the business unit and IT teams, driving technology initiatives and end-to-end project delivery.

You will manage governance, requirements, budgets, and risk, while promoting adoption of enterprise tools and ensuring cybersecurity and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT project management experience, or IT business relationship management.
• Proficiency in PM, change management, risk management and requirements analysis.
• Knowledge of SDLC, SQA, basics of database management and OS administration.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Act as SPOC for IT initiatives between business units and IT teams and vendors.
• Lead end-to-end IT project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Capture requirements via BRD, TOR, and project charters; assess feasibility and ROI.
• Monitor IT service metrics and report via scorecards; participate in steering/gov reviews.
• Educate stakeholders on enterprise capabilities and emerging technologies to optimize ops.
• Support IT budgeting and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and governance policies.

Job description

The IT Project Manager acts as the primary strategic liaison and Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the business unit and internal/external IT teams. This role is responsible for driving technology initiatives, managing end-to-end IT projects, and ensuring IT capabilities align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Act as the single point of contact for all IT-related requirements, escalations, and technical support needs. Coordinate solution delivery across internal IT teams (Infrastructure, Application Development, Security, Helpdesk) and third-party vendors.
• Project Delivery & Governance: Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects supporting business processes, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Enforce project gating processes, portfolio tracking, risk management, and documentation standards.
• Business Analysis & Solutioning: Assist business leads in articulating technology needs through Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Project Charters, and Terms of Reference (TOR). Conduct feasibility, cost, and ROI analyses to recommend optimal solutions.
• Operations & SLA Monitoring: Monitor and report on IT service metrics (system uptime, issue resolution, security compliance, SLAs) through regular scorecards. Represent IT in executive steering committees and operational business reviews.
• Technology Adoption & Strategy: Educate business stakeholders on existing enterprise capabilities (automation tools, collaboration platforms, cloud storage) to drive system utilization and recommend emerging technologies to optimize operations.
• IT Administration & Compliance: Support business‑unit IT budgeting and ensure adherence to corporate cybersecurity, data protection, and IT governance policies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT project management, account management, or IT business relationship management.
• Proficiency in Project Management, Change Management, Risk Management, and Requirements Analysis.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Quality Assurance (SQA), basic database management, and operating system administration.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
