Uniform and Linen Supervisor oversees and manages the hotel's linen and uniform operations, ensuring the availability, quality, proper distribution, inventory control, and maintenance of all linen and uniforms while supporting operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence in accordance with hotel standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervises daily linen and uniform operations, ensuring accurate issuance, recording, inventory control, and timely resolution of operational concerns.
Monitors linen par levels, room and F&B linen availability, and coordinates replenishment requirements to support uninterrupted hotel operations.
Leads and develops linen room staff through regular briefings, training, performance monitoring, and enforcement of grooming and workplace standards.
Prepares and maintains operational reports, budget forecasts, inventory analyses, labor cost monitoring, and documentation related to linen and uniform management.
Conducts periodic linen and uniform inventories, manages condemned stock records, oversees quality control initiatives, and ensures compliance with hotel policies and service standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Laundry, Linen, or Housekeeping Operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, preferably in a luxury or 5-star hotel.
Strong knowledge of linen and uniform inventory management, laundry operations, quality control, and cost management.
Proficient in inventory tracking systems, report preparation, and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and analyze inventory and operational data.
Knowledge of hotel service standards, workplace safety, and hygiene regulations.
Ability to train, coach, and motivate team members while fostering a culture of service excellence.
