Job summary

QBE Group Shared Services Centre is seeking an IT Infrastructure role to build, administer, support, and maintain Unified Communications infrastructure in line with QBE policies. You will work with specialists and engineers to translate designs into operational plans and coordinate with third parties to deliver services.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and operating IT infrastructure while ensuring security, compliance, and high-quality service delivery across the environment.

Qualifications

• Necessary Qualifications include: Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical issues, ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
• Design, implement and operate IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
• Create system designs to meet defined business needs, working with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical designs.
• Understand and identify problems, analyse and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain focus on the whole life of service delivery, ensuring IT products and vendors deliver services.
• Demonstrate lateral thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various technology capabilities.
• Visualise ideal user services and explore different design approaches.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer experiences through technical expertise.
