Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd seeks a data-driven analyst to strengthen underwriting QA, develop ESL testing and renewal metrics. You will collaborate with Actuarial and Underwriting to ensure pricing accuracy and risk control while coaching junior underwriters.

The role requires 5-7 years in underwriting or actuarial work with supervisory experience, plus strong analytical and communication skills to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• 5-7 years in group underwriting and/or actuarial work with leadership.
• 1-2 years as a quality analyst.

Responsibilities

• Review and provide recommendations on Stop Loss underwriting policies and QA compliance.
• Develop metrics for QA program and coach underwriters to improve quality.
• Create ESL enhancement testing procedures and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Lead renewal strategy analyses and liaise with Actuarial and Underwriting on 800+ renewals.
