Job summary

OceanaGold’s Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines, is seeking Mining Operators to carry out safe underground operations using Level 1 equipment. Role reports to the Mining Supervisor and involves hazard reporting, teamwork with engineers and operators, and site preparation.

On-site accommodation and meals are provided, with travel to and from work, rice allowance, and health insurance. Candidates must have completed secondary education and a valid driver’s license; visa sponsorship is not

Qualifications

• Must have completed secondary education.
• Driver’s license with restrictions 1,2,3,8.

Responsibilities

• Pro-active hazard reporting to supervisor.
• Communicate with supervisor, engineers and other equipment operators.
• Efficient use of equipment.
• Operate underground equipment.
• Preparation and clean-up of working areas.
• Continuous improvement and learning.
