Job summary

OceanaGold is seeking suitably qualified, experienced Mining Operators for the Didipio underground mine in the Philippines. You will operate Level 1 equipment such as UG truck, Batch Plant, Rehandling truck and/or AGI Truck under a Mining Supervisor.

Key tasks include hazard reporting, clear communication with supervisors and engineers, site preparation and cleanup, and ongoing learning for safety and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

• Must have completed secondary education.
• Driver’s License (Restriction 1, 2, 3, 8).

Responsibilities

• Pro-active hazard reporting and immediate safety, environment and productivity issue reporting to supervisor.
• Communicate with supervisor, engineers and other equipment operators in work areas.
• Preparation and clean-up of working areas.
• Continuous improvement and learning.

Job Description

The Didipio mine is located on Luzon Island in the Philippines and is the Company’s only asset that produces both gold and copper.Didipio was built by OceanaGold in 2013 and operates fully as underground mine, with over 800 employees that support themine.

OceanaGold is seeking asuitably qualified, experienced, and reliableMining Operatorsto carry out safe operations in the underground mine operations and able to operate Level 1 mining equipment such as UG truck, Batch Plant, Rehandling truck and or AGI Truck. This role will report to theMining Supervisor.
