Job summary

OceanaGold's Didipio mine on Luzon Island, Philippines, is seeking a Consultant – Maintenance (UG Load and Haul) to maintain underground mobile equipment, focusing on Sandvik trucks and production loaders.

The role includes inspecting, servicing, repairing equipment, and transferring knowledge to local technicians to raise technical capacity. Reports to Superintendent – Maintenance (UG Mobile).

Qualifications

• 10 years underground mining experience.
• Significant exposure to Sandvik trucks and loaders.
• Heavy Equipment Mechanical or Auto Electrical trade or relevant engineering degree.
• Light vehicle driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Execute underground mobile maintenance per plans and priorities.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Follow maintenance plans to align with schedules.
• Provide feedback on work orders and SOPs.
• Meet scheduled timeframes for all tasks.
• Mentor maintenance staff to share best practices.
