Job summary

OceanaGold Corporation seeks a Consultant – Maintenance (UG Load and Haul) for the Didipio mine in the Philippines. You will maintain underground mobile equipment, prioritising Sandvik trucks and loaders to meet availability and reliability targets.

You will transfer knowledge to local technicians and report to the Superintendent – Maintenance (UG Mobile), ensuring safe, high-quality operations and on-time execution.

Qualifications

• 10 years underground mining experience.
• Significant experience with Sandvik trucks and loaders.
• Diploma/degree in heavy equipment trade or engineering.
• Valid Light vehicle Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Execute underground mobile maintenance based on plans and strategies.
• Ensure highest quality work with safety as the primary consideration.
• Understand maintenance plans to meet scheduled timelines.
• Provide feedback on work orders, PM sheets, SOPs and related docs.
• Mentor and develop maintenance personnel to improve competence.
