Job summary

The successful candidate will inspect, service and repair underground equipment to high quality standards, transfer knowledge to local technicians, and report to the Superintendent – Maintenance (UG

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment mechanical or auto electrical trade or relevant engineering degree.
• Significant exposure to Sandvik trucks and loaders.
• Light vehicle Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Execute underground mobile maintenance per plans and priorities.
• Ensure work is done with top quality and safety as a priority.
• Follow maintenance plans to meet the scheduled schedule.
• Provide feedback on work orders, PM sheets and SOPs for accuracy.
• Complete work within the approved scheduled timeframe.
• Participate in root cause analysis for equipment failures and incidents.
• Mentor and develop maintenance personnel to improve practices.
