Qualifications

• Prior payroll experience is essential.
• UK payroll experience is advantageous.
• Degree or professional qualification in payroll/finance is beneficial.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with payroll data.
• Ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Proactive and collaborative with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit payroll input to external provider.
• Review payroll calculations and reports for discrepancies.
• Process employee changes including hires, leavers, salary changes, and bonuses.
• Support statutory payroll activities (PAYE, National Insurance, pensions, RTI).
• Perform payroll reconciliations and month-end/year-end activities.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with HR Operations, Finance and external providers.
• Maintain payroll records and support audits.
• Identify recurring errors and contribute to process improvements.
• Prepare payroll reports and handle off-cycle payments.
