Qualifications

• Graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related degree/qualification.
• Good theoretical understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent written English is essential for most customer communication.
• Strong spoken English for training, coaching, and communication with colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable learning new systems, software, and processes.
• Positive attitude toward customer service and problem-solving.
• Able to take ownership of tasks and customer concerns.
• Comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment.
• Willingness to learn UK accounting and taxation processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer queries through the support desk and ticketing system.
• Assist customers with accounting and tax-related questions.
• Investigate customer queries and provide clear, accurate, and helpful responses.
• Take ownership of customer issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Identify queries that require further assistance and escalate them to an accountant or relevant specialist when necessary.
• Maintain a high standard of written communication and customer service.
• Work within agreed response and resolution times.
• Accurately document customer interactions and resolutions.
• Learn and apply the company's UK accounting, tax, and internal processes.
• Continuously develop knowledge of UK accounting practices and support procedures.
