Job summary

Logix BPO in Cebu City is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant/Accounting Associate to support a UK-based client. Fresh graduates are welcome, with daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting tasks to build hands-on experience.

You will learn international accounting practices, work with QuickBooks/Xero/SAP, and collaborate with the finance team on monthly closings. This is a full-time onsite role with mid-shift UK hours, offering training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related finance field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Willingness to learn UK accounting and bookkeeping processes.
• Willing to work onsite in Cebu City and align with UK business hours.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions and accounting entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support bank and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and financial databases.
• Assist in monitoring invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Track and organize business expenses and supporting documents.
• Assist with account analysis and routine accounting activities.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and accounting summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Help review financial information for accuracy and completeness.
