Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a UHT Senior Technician to lead maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Ultra-High Temperature equipment used in coconut water and coconut cream lines.

The role requires deep aseptic processing knowledge, strong leadership of technical teams, and strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and safety standards, with hands-on guidance, preventive maintenance, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering or related technical field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining packaging/processing equipment (Tetra Pak).
• Strong knowledge of aseptic packaging and processing technology.
• Proficient in PLC systems (Rockwell Automation), CMMS, and data interpretation.
• Experience supervising preventive maintenance teams and planning maintenance programs.
• Safety and PPE compliance training with boiler/pressure vessel, HVAC, and environmental awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise UHT technicians to ensure efficient workflow and reliable performance.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and regular training on equipment handling and maintenance.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of UHT processing and packaging systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor performance data and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new UHT machines and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams for equipment setup and validation.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, performance metrics, and spare parts.
• Submit maintenance and downtime reports as required.
• Enforce strict safety standards, PPE usage, and food-grade cleanliness; ensure HACCP, GMP, FSMA compliance.

Our client is seeking for a UHT Senior Technician to lead the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of Ultra-High Temperature (UHT) processing equipment used in our coconut water and coconut cream production lines.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring continuous, efficient, and compliant operations of our UHT systems. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in aseptic processing and packaging technology, exceptional problem-solving skills, and proven leadership in supervising technical teams in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise UHT technicians to ensure efficient workflow, timely task completion, and consistent operational performance.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentorship, and regular training on equipment handling and maintenance.

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of UHT processing and packaging systems, including Tetra Pak equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor machine performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new UHT machines and ensure they meet operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance teams for equipment setup and validation.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, performance metrics, and spare parts inventory.
• Prepare and submit maintenance and downtime reports as required.

• Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, PPE usage, and food-grade cleanliness protocols.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and company policies during operations and audits.

• Analyze processing data and develop preventive measures to improve system efficiency and reduce equipment failures.
• Participate in improvement projects, audits, and company events as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or any related technical field.
• At least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining Tetra Pak Packaging and Processing Equipment (A3Flex, A3Compact Flex, VTIS Sterilizer, Homogenizer, Pasteurizer, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of aseptic packaging and processing technology.
• Proficient in PLC systems (Rockwell Automation), CMMS, and performance data interpretation.
• Experienced in supervising preventive maintenance teams and planning annual maintenance programs.
• Trained in safety and PPE compliance, boiler and pressure vessel operation, water and wastewater treatment, HVAC maintenance, energy management, environmental compliance, and leadership development.
