Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel) and administrative tasks.

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and efficient operation of all equipment, machinery, and facilities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance for all utility and production equipment, including but not limited to plastic molding machines, extrusion lines, chillers, compressors, HVAC units, and boilers. Ensure alignment with production plans and established standards related to process and product quality.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure effective machine maintenance, basic equipment care, and the timely execution of corrective and preventive maintenance. Address potential non-conformances and possible equipment breakdowns by coordinating with supervisors and team members.
• Manage the upkeep of facilities, grounds, and buildings, which may include carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, and fabrication. Ensure compliance with applicable building and safety standards, and promptly address potential non-conformances.
• Align maintenance operations with company policies and standards, including Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems), and other relevant certifications. Participate in internal audits and contribute to ensuring compliance with management systems.
• Perform regular inspections of utility areas, building perimeters, and production facilities to ensure adherence to safety and quality systems. Promptly address any issues identified during inspections.
• Prepare and review maintenance reports, participate in root cause analyses of breakdowns, and provide recommendations to address non-conformances, reduce operational losses, and drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
• Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including reports and turnover notes. Monitor the performance of maintenance teams and provide guidance as needed.
• Perform other tasks and functions as may be assigned by the Immediate Supervisor, ensuring the smooth operation of the plant's facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of technical/vocational course, engineering or engineering-related courses, preferably Mechanical Engineering (technical certifications and/or license is an advantage).
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of relevant management systems in the manufacturing industry, including but not limited to Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management Systems, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO 9001:2015 (QMS), is an advantage.
• Considerable communication and administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
