Job summary

GrowthAssistant, LLC is building a priority talent pool for UGC Video Editor opportunities. This role edits raw creator footage into authentic UGC-style ads and social videos, crafting hooks and compelling stories to engage social audiences.

You will select clips, adjust pacing, and ensure QA before delivery, often working from remote locations to support multiple brands. We welcome 2+ years of experience, proficiency in Premiere Pro or CapCut, and a strong instinct for authentic creator

Qualifications

• 2+ years of video editing experience with UGC-style content or creator-led ads.
• Strong sense for authentic storytelling, hooks, pacing and captions.
• Able to organize messy raw footage and work independently from scripts.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw creator clips and product footage into UGC-style ads and social videos.
• Build hooks, story arcs, captions, pattern interrupts, and CTAs with creator voice.
• Select strong B-roll, fix pacing, and perform basic audio/color cleanup.
• Cut alternate hooks and openings to test performance; manage high-volume revisions.
• QA before handoff following brand and creative briefs.

We are building our priority talent pool for UGC Video Editor opportunities. Turn raw creator footage, testimonials and product demonstrations into authentic, engaging short-form videos, especially for social-first brands. The focus is native-feeling UGC storytelling and efficient hook iteration.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

• UGC Editing: Edit raw creator clips and product footage into UGC-style ads and social videos.
• Hooks & Storytelling: Build compelling hooks, clear story arcs, captions, pattern interrupts, and CTAs while keeping an authentic creator voice.
• Footage Selection: Select the strongest soundbites and B-roll, fix pacing, and perform basic audio and color cleanup.
• Iterations: Cut alternate hooks, openings, durations, and aspect ratios from the same source footage.
• Volume & QA: Manage high-volume revision cycles, follow brand/creative briefs, and complete QA before handoff.

What You Bring

• Experience: 2+ years of video editing experience with examples of UGC-style content or creator-led short-form ads.
• Tools: Comfort with Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent editing tools.
• Creator Instincts: Good instinct for authentic creator storytelling, first-three-second hooks, pacing, captions, and platform conventions.
• Independence: Ability to organize messy raw footage and work independently from scripts or reference ads.
• Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented review of captions, sound, product claims, and delivery specifications.

Bonus Points if:

• DTC/e-commerce paid social experience
• Experience editing testimonials, founder stories, or product demos
• AI voiceover or footage-assist tools
