Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Network Administrator with Cisco UC/Voice expertise to join Service Operations. You will own enterprise telephony and collaboration estates, providing remote and on-site support across CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX/UCCE, voice gateways, SIP trunks and core networking.

The role requires strong troubleshooting and clear client communication, with responsibilities spanning CUCM clusters, voice infrastructure, QoS, and integration projects such as Webex Calling or Teams Voice

Qualifications

• 5+ years in network administration with Cisco UC/voice responsibilities.
• Hands-on CUCM (12.5+), Unity Connection and voice gateways/CUBE.
• Strong troubleshooting with SIP traces, Wireshark, MACD in production voice.
• Experience designing LAN/WAN networks with broad infra knowledge.
• Familiar with ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management.

Responsibilities

• Communicate troubleshooting steps clearly to clients and demonstrate urgency.
• Resolve firewall, VPN and access rule issues; enforce security policies.
• Design, deploy and maintain LAN/WAN/WiFi networks; advise upgrades.
• Monitor network performance and produce regular reports.
• Administer CUCM clusters, dial plans and device configuration.
• Manage Unity Connection voicemail and auto-attendants.
• Support Cisco UCCX/UCCE or equivalent contact centre platforms.
• Configure voice gateways, CUBE and SIP trunks; troubleshoot QoS issues.
• Manage endpoints (IP phones, Jabber, Webex devices) and DHCP/TFTP.
• Oversee emergency calling compliance and voice security measures.
• Implement QoS policies for voice/video across LAN/WAN.
• Contribute to voice modernization, Webex Calling and Teams Voice integration.
