Job summary

Okada Manila is seeking a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance specialist to design and execute comprehensive test plans for online gaming platforms, validate core logic and RNG behavior, and triage defects across live deployments. You will perform root-cause analysis, monitor platform health, and coordinate API integrations with external vendors to ensure seamless game launches.

The role requires at least 3 years in technical support or UAT within the iGaming or gaming tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical support, UAT, or technical application support in iGaming, online casino, or gaming tech.
• Experience troubleshooting REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and web/mobile platform behaviors.

Job description

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Quality Assurance

• Design, document, and execute comprehensive UAT test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts for online gaming platforms.
• Validate core application logic, algorithm outputs, rule engines, user account management workflows, and promotional/discount engine rules.
• Validate game logic, engine mechanics, and Random Number Generator (RNG) behavior across single-player and live dealer modules.
• Identify, document, triage, and track software defects and integration bugs using designated enterprise tools (e.g., Service Now and or Github).
• Conduct regression testing and post-deployment validation following system updates, patches, and vendor releases.

Application Support & Troubleshooting

• Perform root-cause analysis of live application failures, transaction drops, or unexpected platform behaviors on OKADA online gaming iPlatform including Back Offices.
• Monitor online gaming application health, service availability, and operational performance using prescribed monitoring tools.
• Analyze platform, system, and database logs to diagnose and isolate L2/L3 technical issues before escalating complex bugs to L3 internal teams or external vendors.
• Respond to and resolve technical incidents and service requests in a timely manner according to defined operational SLAs.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

3rd-Party Gaming Provider & API Integration Coordination

• Coordinate with external 3rd-party gaming vendors, aggregators, and game studios regarding project integration status, delivery milestones, and issue resolution tracking.
• Conduct API integration testing for third-party game launches, server-to-server game launch flows, WebSocket links, and wallet balance callbacks.
• Validate game transaction logs against 3rd-party vendor reconciliation reports to ensure financial, auditing, and platform accuracy.
• Track external vendor deliverables, patch updates, and open defects to ensure timely delivery and deployment.

Customer & Operational Support

• Communicate effectively with operational stakeholders, game operations teams, and internal IT departments to minimize disruption to live casino operations.
• Provide technical support, feature guidance, and domain expertise during project deployments, major game launches, and marketing initiatives.

II. JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

Educational Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical support, UAT, or technical application support within an iGaming, Online Casino, or Gaming Technology environment.
• Proven hands-on experience supporting or testing online gaming applications.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and web/mobile platform behaviors.

• Knowledge in Service Now or equivalent ticketing system, escalation process tools an advantage.
• ITIL certification, or equivalent are an advantage.
