Job summary

New CAS LLC is seeking experienced tax professionals to handle multi-entity return preparation and review for U.S.-based clients. You will lead planning memos, create precise workpapers, and ensure timely sign-offs while mentoring junior staff.

You will collaborate with U.S.-based teams, improve SOPs and calendars, and help clients navigate elections, credits, and apportionment issues with clear explanations in plain English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years of U.S. tax experience preparing and reviewing 1040/1065/1120/1120-S.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax rules; comfort with GAAP and IRS procedures.
• Tax software proficiency: ProConnect, UltraTax, Drake, Lacerte, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-entity return preparation and review (1065/1120/1120-S).
• Prepare and review 1040, schedules, and related forms.
• Draft planning memos, workpapers, and sign-offs with clear documentation.
• Explain complex tax topics in plain English to clients.
• Collaborate with U.S.-based teams and mentor junior staff.
• Develop SOPs, checklists, and calendars to streamline busy seasons.
