Job summary

New CAS LLC is seeking a Tax Accountant or Tax Manager to lead complex U.S. tax preparation and review for multi-entity clients. You will drive end-to-end tax intake, map prior-year data to current workplans, and ensure timely sign-offs while coaching junior staff.

You will collaborate with U.S.-based teams, optimize SOPs, and focus on process improvements, automation, and quality workpapers in a fast-paced season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of U.S. tax experience preparing and reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S.
• Strong command of U.S. federal and state tax rules; comfort with GAAP and IRS procedures.
• Proficiency with tax software: ProConnect, UltraTax, Drake, Lacerte or similar.
• Cloud-first toolkit: QuickBooks Online, Xero; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Confident written and spoken English; client-facing presence; able to work U.S. hours.

Responsibilities

• Own the work that keeps clients calm and compliant.
• Drive tax intake end-to-end: organizers, document requests, kickoff calls.
• Map client TBs and prior-year returns to current year’s workplan.
• Prepare and review entity returns (1065/1120/1120-S) and Schedules.
• Prepare individual returns (1040) with related forms and credits.
• Lead multi-state and SALT work; document opportunities and compliance steps.
