Job summary

SAN MIGUEL INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SERVICES, INC. (SMILSI) is hiring a delivery driver based in Consolacion, Cebu to ensure accurate loading, on-time deliveries, and proper documentation.

You will represent the company as a frontliner and help maintain fleet standards. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, safe driving, route optimization, keeping vehicles clean, and coordinating with dispatchers to resolve issues and find efficient alternatives.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with codes 1,2,3,8.
• Experience driving trucks from 4-wheeler to 18-wheeler.
• Basic auto-electrical and mechanical knowledge for trucks.
• Clean driving record and defensive driving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery quantities and quality are correct.
• Deliver cargo to customers on time and efficiently.
• Prepare complete delivery documents for liquidation.
• Maintain professional conduct as a frontliner.
• Conduct regular pre-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition.
• Report vehicle issues to maintenance or coordinators.
• Ensure timely delivery while maintaining product quality.
• Ensure delivery assistant has necessary documents before dispatch.
• Assist dispatchers to find efficient routes.
• Answer calls/messages related to operations after hours.
• Be flexible to perform other tasks as required.
• Attend management seminars and workshops.
• Participate in productivity and development programs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring that the products for delivery are of the right quantity and quality.

• Responsible for the delivery of cargo to customers are done on a timely manner in the most efficient way.

• Responsible for ensuring the completeness of delivery documents for proper liquidation.

• Maintains proper decorum at all times to ensure a positive image for the Company as frontliners and/or field personnel.

• Regular inspection of trucks prior to boarding the vehicle.

• Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the vehicle.

• Reports any problem concerning the operation of the vehicle to the maintenance team and/or coordinators.

• Ensures to deliver goods on time and maintaining the quality of the goods.

• Ensures that the delivery assistant has all the necessary documents prior to dispatch.

• Assist dispatcher and coordinators to look for alternative routes for a more efficient and effective operations.

• Able to accommodate concerns and answer calls/messages related to operations during non-working hours.

• Flexible in terms of performing other functions which the immediate superior may require.

• Attends to management-initiated seminars and workshops.

• Actively participates in special productivity and developmental programs and other related activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a valid driver's license (restriction code: 1,2,3,8)

• Have an experience driving a 4-wheeler to 18-wheeler truck
