Job summary

San Miguel Integrated Logistics Services, Inc. (SMILSI) in Consolacion, Cebu, is seeking a delivery driver to ensure accurate quantities and quality of items for delivery and to dispatch cargo to customers efficiently.

The role requires a high school graduate with at least 1 year of related work experience and physical fitness to lift heavy items. Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, documenting delivery paperwork, and maintaining professional conduct at all times.

Qualifications

• High School graduate
• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar or related position
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items and goods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products for delivery are of the correct quantity and quality.
• Deliver cargo to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure completeness of delivery documents for proper liquidation.
• Maintain professional conduct and a positive company image at all times.
• Conduct regular truck inspections prior to dispatch.
• Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Report trip status, including loading and unloading activities, to the Coordinator and/or Dispatcher.
• Ensure goods are delivered on time while maintaining product quality.
• Assist the driver in maneuvering and parking the vehicle during deliveries.
• Assist in the proper loading and unloading of goods to prevent damage.
• Respond to operational concerns, calls, and messages when required.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate superior.
• Attend company-initiated seminars, workshops, and training programs.
• Participate in productivity, development, and other company activities.
